***********

Terima kasih ayah. Saya menghargai pemberian ayah.

2. saya minta maaf kerana terlewat. Saya ada sediakan sesuatu untuk ayah. Terima kasih ayah. Saya menghargai pemberian ayah.

Gundah SiTua

Bi ism Allah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim

Ketika kita melangkah ke panggung wayang
Membantu mengukuh kewangan penyokong musuh Allah
Menyokong industri yang lebih condong
Ke arah hedonism
Pernahkah kita bertanya
Allah sukakah aku berada di sini?

Ketika kita leka menyaksikan tayangan
yang diselit lenggang lenggok badan terdedah
yang mengasyikkan
Pernahkah kita bertanya
Allah redhakah dengan perbuatanku ini?

Kita kita menahan telinga
mendengar rentak bingit yang melalaikan
dari mengingatiNYA
Pernahkah kita bertanya
Adakah Allah izinkan aku melakukannya?

Ketika kita megatur prioriti kehidupan

resah jiwanya ketakutan

Wahai

Gundah hati situa itu
melepas amanah kepada dia
yang tidak bertanya kepadaNYA
Adakah dia mampu menggigit pegangan
yang diterap sedari kecil
Atau dia ikut sama dibawa arus budaya baru
demi kerana sebuah CINTA insani

Moga cintamu kepada Allah dan Rasul
Mengatasi cinta kepada dia
yang masih belum mampu bertanya
Redha PEMILIKmu sebelum berbuat sesuatu

Hanya doa dipanjatkan kepada PEMILIK alam
Untuk dia yang memegang amanah siibu tua
Supaya sedar hidup ini hanyalah untukMU
Setiap langkah perbuatan ditanya redhaMU

Qalb

In the name of Allah The One The Truth

Reflection in a mirror
Is it real?
Or just an illusion?
A creation of the mirror
How can a mirror reflect?
If no existence stands before it
To be a reflection in a mirror
Existence must present before it
Existence must be Real
Hence Truth is not an illusion
Truth exists independent of the mirror
A reflection of Reality
Thus Truth is not the creation of the mirror

Practical Joke

Bi ism Allah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim

Sebuah Kisah Benar

Life Lesson

In the name of Allah Most Creative All Knowing

One fine day, a group of young men went on a journey to see a sage who lived near a sea to seek his wisdom of how to live successfully. After a few days journey, they came across a wide river. The river was shallow at either sides of the banks but deep in the middle. The river was infested with crocodiles and snakes. They had to cross the river but there was no bridge. They started searching for something to use to go to the other side of the river. One young man found a fallen tree trunk, the size of a coconut tree, which was long enough to reach the other side of the river. All of the young men worked together and they had successfully placed the tree trunk across the river.

One by one walked carefully on the tree trunk to the other side. But, there was a handsome young man who could not walk on the tree trunk. He tried to walk very carefully but after only a few steps he fell into the river. He climbed up the river bank and tried again, but each time he tried, he would fall again. All his friends waited patiently for him at the other side of the river. A few of them came back to get him but even with his friends help, he would fall into the river. The young man tried again and again but he failed each time. After sometimes he lost his motivation and enthusiasm. He shouted to his friends to move on and he will catch them up later. His friends continued their journey leaving him all alone.

After tens and tens of time trying, he felt so lost and so depressed. He sat down by the river and started to cry.

Then, suddenly he heard someone approaching.

Old lady: Assalamualaikum handsome young man. Why are you crying
Young man: Waalaikumussalam. Who are you?
Old lady: I am a traveler just like you. You didn't answer my question.
Young man: I wanted to cross the river but I fell down each time. I've tried hundreds of time. I don't know why I can't do it. All my friends were able to do it.
Old lady: How do you do it?
Young man: I tried to walk on the trunk just like the way my friends did...and I tried the same way over and over again, but I failed each time.
Old lady: OOOO I see. You should listen to your own self.
Young man: What do you mean?
Old lady: You said you have tried the same way over and over again.
Young man: Yes, that is true...
Old lady: And that is what is wrong with you, my dear
Young man: Meaning?
Old lady: A wise person would reflect and learn from each experience. What is wrong with you dear child?

My dearest

"If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten."

A wise person is a person who tried a method of doing things and if he failed, he would change to a different method until he finds the method that works for him

An idiot would insist on doing the same thing the same way over and over again even though he knows that the method does not work for him

O ALLAH THE MOST COMPASSIONATE THE MOST MERCIFUL...BESTOW UPON MY CHILDREN, SAIF, NUS, QARAFI, HASAN, RUMAISA, IZZAH AND IZAD, AND ALL MUSLIMS UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM. GRANT THEM SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN THIS WORLD AND THE NEXT WORLD. FILL OUR HEARTS WITH SAKINAH, MAWADDAH AND RAHMAH AND BIND OUR HEARTS TOGETHER IN A FAMILY FULL OF LOVE AND RESPECT TOWARD EACH OTHER. O ALLAH THE ALL KNOWING, MAKE PERFECT MY CHILDREN'S MORAL CHARACTER LIKE YOU HAVE PERFECTED THEIR PHYSICAL APPEARANCES...AMIN YA RABB AL-'ALAMIN. O ALLAH THE ANSWERER OF ALL PRAYERS, ANSWER THE PRAYER OF YOUR HUMBLE SERVANT AND A MOTHER

Advice to Knowledge Seekers from Tok Kenali

In the name of Allah The Most Knowledgeable The Most Wise

• Student should purify his soul from impurities for they could hinder the student from understanding and remembering the subject learnt.
• Student should search for knowledge for it will not come to him and it is not passed down by parents. The motivation to learn must come intrinsically.
• Seek knowledge at its centre for it is where scholars and seekers of knowledge gathered. Therefore, you can benefit from learning from different scholars of authority and discussions with your colleagues.
• Be patient while seeking knowledge.
• Use a lot of observations and examine carefully the sources of knowledge. Student also should observe the natural phenomena around him.
• Learn from books which are authentic and comprehensive for they contain answers to most of your questions.
• Read books from different scholars on the topic to be discussed before the lesson to compare with your teacher’s perspective and to evaluate different reasoning used by different scholars.

O ALLAH THE MOST GENEROUS THE MOST COMPASSIONATE, GRANT MY CHILDREN, SAIF, NUS, QARAFI, RUMAISA, IZZAH AND IZAD, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING AND MAKE PERFECT THEIR MORAL CHARACTERS LIKE YOU HAVE PERFECTED THEIR PHYSICAL APPEARANCES...AMIN.

Words of Wisdom from al-Ghazali to Students

In the name of Allah The All Knowing The Wise

My dear children

Please take heed of al-Ghazali's advice so that you can be an excellent seekers of knowledge and wisdom.

First, you should purify your soul from impurities and blameworthy characteristics such as anger, lust, envy, pride, conceit etc. because the heart is the seat of knowledge...knowledge cannot enter the heart which is blackened by impurities. Ibn Mas'ud said, "knowledge is not the prolific retention of traditions but is a light which floods the heart". The heart is like a mirror which reflects the light of knowledge. If the heart is blackened, how can it reflect light?

So my dear beloved children, purify your heart before you study...Ask forgiveness from Allah, from your parents, from your teachers, your friends and those that you've done wrong to.

Second, reduce the affairs of this world to bare minimum. Therefore, my beloved, do not overdo with entertainment, games (physical exercise is encouraged), and activities that do not give any benefit to you especially those which steal your precious study time.

Third, you should be humble before your teacher. Submit to your teacher's advice just as a patient would submit to a good doctor. Knowledge is not gained except through humility and harkening (focused listening/concentrating in paying attention).

Fourth, it is the duty of seekers of knowledge not to let knowledge escape them without carefully examining it in order to become familiar with it details. Hence, dear children, make a habit to always do your revision until you know all the details of what you have studied. When it is said that it is "the duty", this means that not doing it is considered as violating Islamic ethics of a student...which means that you have committed a sin.

Fifth, it is the obligation of seekers of knowledge to gain knowledge for the purpose of drawing near to Allah. Whosoever seek Allah through knowledge, no matter what kind, he is sure to profit and advance. The noblest of all sciences is the science of knowing Allah.

O ALLAH, THE MOST WISE, THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE, GRANT MY CHILDREN SAIF, NUS, QARAFI, RUMAISA, IZZAH, IZAD AND ALL MUSLIMS, UNDERSTANDING IN RELIGION, KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM...FOR OUR SUCCESS IN THIS WORLD AND OUR SALVATION IN THE NEXT WORLD THROUGH YOUR MERCY AND COMPASSION...AMIN

Solace in Nature

In the name of Allah The Most Creative Creator

Quaint isn't
That Man find solace in nature
All Man made beauty combined
Could not soothe troubled soul
Or
Is it because nature is consistently singing Praise to The Almighty
The silence of nature
is deafening with language of submission to The One
which appeases distress soul

Tenderness

In the name of Allah The Compassionate The Merciful

In this journey
Sometimes I'm dazzled by the sign posts
Which are adorned with diamonds and gem stones
I took so much time admiring the appearances of the sign posts
that I forgot my REAL destination
For the love of Your creations
You pelted me with stones to make me realized time is running out
I would writhe in agony
But I'm forever thankful
Sometimes I realized I made wrong choices
I knew that You would not forsake me
I anticipated your gentle reminder
and when it finally came I smile in the face of physical affliction, mental anguish
Thank You for purifying me now when I'm able to endure it

Sometimes I took a wrong way and plunged in the vast abyss of nihilism
You waited for me tenderly but I was way too deep
You snatched me hard and I fell on my face
the excruciating physical suffering and mental misery
became too unbearable and I almost forget that You were always there for me
I looked up and called out Your name
Water flowed to enliven the barren ground
Thank You for the constant guidance to make me stay on the Path
Thank You for making me feel Your Compassion
Thank You for making me focus on You
Thank You for the warmth the flows through my veins
Thank You for the shivers down my spine

Acknowledgment on My Excellent Pursuit

In the name of Allah the Granter of Knowledge, the Giver of Wisdom

Alhamdulillah, praise and gratitude be to Allah, the Producer, the Omniscient, the Creator who created the magnificent intellect and endowed it to human thus elevates him to the highest position in the hierarchy of creations given that he purifies his intellect through contemplation and guidance from Allah. Allah alone has the right to the highest praise for only through HIS will I discovered that the experiences I have gained on this journey are nothing but indications of HIS Superiority and all of HIS Greatness which I cannot express through language except what HE has taught me. Thank Allah for choosing me to be closer to HIM through constant pleading and begging for guidance to finish this humble study. Thank Allah for giving me understanding and knowledge through contemplation.

EXCERPT FROM MY THOUGHT

With strong foundation of thought, the companions were able to make their own intellectual judgment regarding religious understanding and practices which sometimes resulted in differences of opinions among the companions which was allowed by the Prophet. For example, the following hadiths illustrate that differences of opinions were approved by the Prophet.
When the prophet return from the battle of al-Ahzab, he said to us, “No one is to offer the ‘Asr prayer but at Bani Quraizah.” To some of us the ‘Asr prayer was due on the way. Some of us decided not to pray but at Bani Quraizah while some others decided to pray on the spot and said that the intention of the Prophet was not what the former had understood. And when that was told to the Prophet he did not blame anyone of them (al-Bukhari, al-jami’ al-sahih, vol. 2, ed. 1984: 34).

Ibnu Mas’ud said, “I heard a person reciting a Qur’anic verse in a certain way, and I heard the Prophet reciting the same verse in a different way. So I took him to the Prophet and informed him of that but I noticed the sign of disapproval on his face, and then he said, “Both of you are correct, so don’t differ, for the nations before you differed, so they were destroyed” (al-Bukhari, al-jami’ al-sahih, vol. 4, ed. 1984: 453-454).

The companions also used to interpret the Qur’an allegorically such as Ibnu Abbas’ interpretation of surah an-Nasr as an indication of the death of Prophet Muhammad (al-Bukhari, al-jami’ al-sahih, vol. 4, ed. 1984: 528). These precedents had given the earlier Muslims a sense of confidence in engaging in philosophical debates to solve theoretical and practical problems of their time especially after they had encountered with different cultures as the Islamic empire widened.

MAY ALLAH GRANT US ALL KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM...MAY ALLAH GRANT MY CHILDREN SAIF, NUS, QARAFI, RUMAISA, IZZAH AND IZAD UNDERSTANDING IN RELIGION AND MAY ALLAH PERFECTED THEIR MORAL CHARACTER JUST LIKE HE HAS PERFECTED THEIR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE...AMIN YA RABB AL-'ALAMIN

Why Read??? Revised a Little

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Compassionate

My Dearest
Have you ever wondered why
On the first encounter HE gave instruction
To read
Isn't it peculiar for when we first met someone
We haven't met before
The first thing we do is to get acquainted
The logical consequence is
Reading must me vital, life-giving
Know that life begins after death
Death is not the end but the beginning of Real Life
The time to reap what we sow in the ephemeral world

My Dearest
Have you ever wondered
What is the meaning of reading
What should we read about
From which sources
And for what end
If we ponder deep enough, He may show us the light of comprehension
the meaning of reading is not pointing towards itself but to other than itself
the meaning of reading is in the purpose of reading
To read is not confined to reading written words but
To read is to understand the indications of Allah
In the form of written messages and symbolic messages present in the universe
Hence
Read all in the name of Allah
For the end of reading is to know HIM through contemplative intelligence
Hence, reading makes us understand the universe and its purposes for mankind
and most significantly reading makes us realize HIM and HIS beautiful attributes
(Don't you know that spirituality is realization of HIM)
The effects of which the edifice of formidable civilization can be built
on the foundation of metaphysical, epistemological and ethical TRUTH
(Don't you know that our forefathers had built this before)

My Dearest
Have you ever wondered
Only after asking us to read then He introduced HIMSELF as the creator
and we are HIS creations
The answer to the most fundamental metaphysical question of who are we and where are we from
can only be discovered through reading
When HE affirmed that HE is the Creator and We are the creations
It set dualism as reality of existence instead of monism
Dual existence, seen and the unseen
The corporeal and the incorporeal
The Creator and the creations
Dual life, here and hereafter
Which magnify HIS UNITY
Know that the multiplicity of His creations are the manifestations of HIS ONENESS
in all aspects

My Dearest
Have you ever wondered
Why HE says that HE is the Most Generous
for teaching us with the use of a pen
Have you ever wonder what is the meaning of teaching and pen
Why HE is generous for teaching us that which we knew not
Have your ever wondered
The significance of HIM declaring to HIS most beloved (pbuh) that HE is The Teacher
Know that the meaning of a pen can only be understood in relation to writing
Pen and writing is significant for their connection with knowledge and its dissemination
Ya Rabb...Read, Pen, Writing, Knowledge, and HE is the Teacher
For if HE does not give us understanding, we will be blinded by the light of TRUTH
Have you ever wondered
How HE teaches
Know that HE teaches through experiential learning
for how can we understand TRUTH if we never experienced TRUTH

My Dearest
Be thankful to HIM
for endowing us with the intellect
for reading requires understanding through contemplative intelligence
realizing that the end of reading is to know HIM
For how can we meet HIM in the next eternal world
If we do not know HIM in this evanescent world
didn't HE say that the best endowment to mankind is to behold HIS countenance

My Dearest children
Sharpen and purify your heart mind and HE may honor you
with comprehension and wisdom

MAY ALLAH BLESS US ALL AND ENDOW US WITH THE LIGHT OF COMPREHENSION
